Hi,

There is no printer specific driver available for Servere 2016 for the M277, hoever the latest HP UPD suppors your printer and compatible with Server 2016.

You may download HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit) driver below:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL40842/ds-99374-14/upd-pcl6-x64-6.4.1.22169.exe

For a network connection select Traditional mode, then follow the Add Printer wizard to configure the printer.

For USB select Plug n Play.

Once done right click the printer and select Printer Properties.

Within the Device Settings tab be sure to enable the duplex unit and set the mode as Color to take full advantage of your printer capabilties.

Shlomi

Hi,

Only printing fumctionality is offered by the HP Software for a Server OS.

You may connect the printer through a network connection and set up scanning to a shared network folder on the server, then scan from the printer front panel.

Follow the steps shown under Scan to a network folder>  Windows > Method 2: Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) below to setup a such:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04531711

Next follow Step 2 to scan from the printer front panel.

Shlomi
