I have tried everything but we cannot get the scanner to connected except through the Smart App. I have uninstalled & reinstalled the Full Software Solution 48.6.4638, Basic Software Solution 48.6.4638, Universal Scan Full Feature Software and Driver 63.7.6442. We continue to get errors that the "unable to communicate with the scanner." We have done the hard reset for 60 seconds, reseated the cables, made sure nothing was blocking it in the Windows Defender Firewall. Nothing has worked.

Hello
Please try installing the universal scanner driver and then test scanning through the universal scanner driver.
