Hello,

I have an error message on my printer that states "Remove paper from document feeder". The problem is that there is no paper in the document feeder. I tried cleaning everything that is related to it but still no luck. That problem disables my glass bed scanner as well so my printer is only good as a printer, scanning functions do not work. How can I fix this?

Sometimes the Flag that's on the Doc feeder gets stuck or knocked out of place check to see if that's still in place.

Here is a link to remove the scanner bed sometimes unplugging it and reinstalling it might fix it

We have had a few issues with these adf units and it is often that one of the internal cables is bad. If that is the case,  replacement is really the only option.
