Hi there,
I have some questions to certified HP technicians who have an experience with HP LaserJet Pro P1102w:
1. What kind of grease is used in fuser module: Molykote HP-870, G-8005, G-300/G-500 (Asia); Uniflor 8172 / 8192; Chemplex 710; DuPont Krytox 143? Is Molykote HP-870 recommended for this printer?
2. How to apply grease correctly according to HP requirements? According to Molykte grease is only applied on fuser heater: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9d1dXsZFxk
3. Do you recommend grease for this printer or just leave it just clean (I cleaned old grease on all parts incl. inner and outer side of teflon polyamide sleeve)? Well I do not want to make a printing quality worse than it is now but I also do not want to reduce endurance of original teflon sleeve.
4. How often do you change a grease in such type home laser printers? 6 months, 12 months?
I am asking because:
1. Original grease has grey/silver color (looks like graphite grease) and was applied on plastic frame between bezels above and below a ceramic heater.
2. Bottom side of ceramic heater has extremely small amount of white grease (possibly thermal paste).
3. On all Youtube videos grease is applied in a different way: some amateur technicians apply it on left and right side of ceramic heater leaving center of heater clean. Some apply grease on metal frame on the back of fuser module. Personally I do not think that they made it correctly as HP apply it in the factory and grease color totally do not correspond to this fro factory also.
Thanks in advance!

HP Certified Technicians do not repair that model, it is a whole unit replacement.
HP does not support Fuser Repair, only whole unit replacement of Fusers.
When I have rebuilt a Fuser I spread Uniflor accross the wear surfaces, not directly on the heater, (grease where the inside of the Film Sleeve comes in contact with the Heater/Frame).
