@Vlad83,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know how to find the creation date for your HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer.

You can find it from the serial number of the unit by following the steps listed below:

1. Find your Printer's serial number, which is typically etched into the rear housing panel.

2. Look for the year of manufacture amongst the various letters and numbers. Most HP serials begin with letters, have several numbers in the middle, and end with another group of letters. The year of manufacture will appear in the middle of the number as four consecutive digits. If you purchased your printer new, look for the year you purchased it.

3. Find the two digits that follow the year of manufacture. These indicate the week that your printer was manufactured. For example, if your year of manufacture is "2009" and this is followed by "14," the printer was assembled during the 14th week of 2009.

4. Look at a calendar of the year of manufacture, or a calendar for the current year if you can't locate one. Skip to the week your printer was manufactured to find out in which month your printer was manufactured.

You have a good day ahead.
