HP LaserJet Pro 400 color Printer M451 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Few of the printers in my company are having same problem. The models are HP MFP 475dn, M451dn and CM2320. When i put a paper in tray 1 the paper is recognized. But the printer tries to take paper from tray 2 and makes paper jam.

It makes it even if its not connected to computer when i print test pages. All settings are set that the printer should take first from tray one. All these models are working correctly through tray 2.

There are some thing that i did and didn't help:

I checked all sensor, they are working correctly. I upgraded the firmware.

All information will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Set the settings to Any Type and Any Size.
Check if the specific documents dont have set "manual" on paper settings

We have just fixed that. The issue is equal for a few models but the solution is different. I will show you pictures with 3 sensors which made the problem. On the first picture sensor is behind plastic. You have to remove it to clear it. Other two pictures are also showing problematic sensors.
