I have Windows 11 system, new install. And I have HP Laserjet M426f fdw printer. I downloaded the latest print driver from HP Support site. 

 

My installation fails after running for about 20 min. with an " Error" " An install operation took too long to execute. This is a fatal error preventing product use. Please restart your computer, and run this installer again. ....  " 

 

I have done this multiple time with same outcome (error).  Any help will be appreciated. Thank You!

Hello
(You need to re-match or install the latest version of .NET Framework on your computer.)
If only one printer is installed on the computer, please open the folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3, delete all files in the 3 folder, restart the computer, and reinstall the printer driver for testing.
If the issue persists, please clear the temporary folder (temp) on your computer, close/uninstall the antivirus software on your computer, and then reinstall the full version of the printer driver for testing.
