The printer is driving me crazy. I've spent two days trying to hook up my new HP Envy to print. I've tried USB and through the nextwork. All it says is "printing document" and nothing prints.
I've looked this up and tried the toubleshooting software, reinstalling drivers, turning computer and printer on and off, and I don't know what to do.
Seriously, I've spent 2 days on this to no avail. I am really hating this right now. Please help if you can.
Thanks,
Marsha

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂
I understand that you have an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw and it does not print via USB or network. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job. Not to worry, I'll do my best to assist you with this case.
To assist you better, I would like to know the following information:
- Is the printer able to make a photocopy? If yes then it indicates that the copying hardware is working fine.
Meanwhile, please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
If the issue persists then I suggest to uninstall the printer drivers from the root level and then reinstall them. The following steps will help:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- You may download and install the drivers from this link.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Please feel free to let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂

Thanks for the tip to check if it would make a copy. It said the memory was full. I don't know why, but I reset the factory settings, and I plugged the printer into my laptop and it worked.
The printer does not work wirelessly, but at least, I can print something! I suppose I can work on the wireless thing later. I am happy to have a functioning printer, finally.
