I’m getting a jam in print paper path.

the paper stops with 1/2 inch left in the fuser and won't exit the printer. But the printed page starts printing too low on the page.  It’s as if the page is delayed in getting picked up by a tiny bit and although the paper exits the printer it registers as a jam because it did not exit soon enough.  I have removed the covers and blown out the sensors. Sensor flags are functional. I have replaced the pickup roller and the separation roller but it didn't help. I have also cleaned all the rubber rollers. I cannot print from manual feed because there isn't one on this printer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Does this happen while copying also? What is the paper size and type you're using?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Let me know if this helps.

This printer doesn't copy. Letter size /Plain type

I print the supplies status or config or any other report and it stops at the top with about 1/2 inch still in the printer.

I will try the firmware update but I am not thinking that is the problem.

Tried to update firmware but it won't go to ready to install. Still has error that comes up right off. "Jam in print paper path" Open tray 1 and rear door. No paper anywhere. Maybe I will need to remove transfer belt. Any other suggestions? Now I can't get it to go to ready where I can print a report.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
