HP M404n

I have a M404n that is stuck in MFG mode, and I cannot figure out how to get it out of that mode. PLEASE help

Did it go into this mode when started up or was someone trying to access something on the printer and accidently wound up in this mode? I know you have likely already tried restarting, but try this: unplug any usb or network cables, pull the power cord out of the printer and wait 30 seconds, hold down the power button for 5 seconds to ensure that all residual energy is drained out of the boards. Plug only the power cord in and restart. If that does not work, then there may be an issue with the printer and as it is likely that you still have warranty on the printer you should contact HP technical support and open a warranty case.
