Hello, we've been having a problem with one of our HP LaserJet M806dn printers.  A couple weeks ago users reported it was printing "slow" when printing large print jobs (with graphic images).  I was able to observe one occasion where it was printing only 1page every 4 seconds.  When the print job finished, I ran a Paper Path Test on all trays and it printed normally from all trays.  There weren't any errors logged in the printers Event Log Page either.  The operators continued printing similar print jobs without any more probems.

When this continued to happen, usually over the weekend when I am not on-site, one of the operators claimed it was happening when printing from Tray 5.  I powered off the printer and swapped out Tray 5 with another printer.  When doing this, I made sure the Feed Rollers were securely in place.

This morning, I was informed that it was still happening.  There were a couple of "13.B9.B4" errors in the Event Log Page, which refer to "Multifeed jam, from Tray 4".  Is this error related?

It's beginning to look like the problem is with the High-Capacity Tray assembly and not the Tray 5 itself.  Can't find anything in the Troubleshooting Manual that relates to this specific problem
