Microsoft Windows Server 2019

Much like the other post with the same title - the printer randomly generates an 'Out of Paper' error message. The message appears on the printer. If I look at the control panel or access the web interface it shows the error.

Things I've tried

* replaced the printer three times, same random error

* updated to the latest printer firmware, error appears with the previous firmware as well as the newest firmware

* driver installed locally on a W10 PC; then shared to same users; then added to AD directory

* driver installed locally on a W10 PC with RDP local printer selected

* driver installed on a W2019 server

* always use Standard TCP/IP port, printer is always static IP

* used the PCL6 v3 and PCL6 v4 drivers, the printer states only PCL6 v3 personality is loaded

* restarting the Print Spooler on the PC or server has no effect on the error

Observations

* one user can print endlessly with no problems (100+ pages through multiple print job), when a second person tries to print the error comes up; the printer halts at this point

* we have 2 of these installed at other locations with no error, but, I *think* only 1 user per printer; one location uses the same W2019 server as this one, a different queue but the same driver with no errors

Misc Notes

* Printer shows Personalities Installed - PCL 5c (Version 5.0c), PCL6 (Version 3.0), PostScript 3.0 (Version 3011.001), AirPrint™ (Version 20100826)

* using new HP toner that came with it

What type of port are you using for the driver on the problem machine. If you are using a WSD port it is quite possibly what is triggering the error. I always recommend using a Standard TCP/IP port whenever possible.
