Hello,

I need some help. After trying to print an excel sheet this morning, the output was terrible. I ran a print condition report and everything needed to be cleaned and aligned. The alignment was unsuccessful. When I was in the cycle of cleaning the printheads, the first round was successful. It still didn't print good so I proceeded to the second cleaning. During this cleaning, appearred the Printer Failure Error. I have unplugged and turned back on several times, this error still appears. Is there anything I can look at to fix?

Thanks for your time!

Hi @ReneeKutchera

Try a printer reset -

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
