HP Scanjet Pro 4500 fn1

Hi,

 

My HP Scanjet Pro 4500 fn1 is not scanning anymore and everytime I try to look at the settings or even restart it will display "The system is not Ready!!"  .   So I am not able to change or even look at my settings on the scanner.

The embedded web page is also not loading. 

 

So at the moment I am not able to see or change any of my settings.  And not able to reset the device back to factory settings.

 

Any advice on how to handle/resolve this?

I will try and hope this will help.Information found on the internet.

To reset the scanner, follow these steps:
1.
Close the HP Scan Software if it is open.
2.
Press the

Wait 30 seconds. The scanner resets.

Try to reset the scanner and i hope that it might resolve the problem.

To Reset The Scanner

 

To reset the scanner, follow these steps:
1. Close the HP Scan Software if it is open.
2. Press the Setting icon on the touch panel, press Reset and then select Reset.
3. Wait 30 seconds. The scanner resets.
