Hi TEK ACE,
Have a new iMac OS 10.15.2. My HP Director is non functioning now although I can still print. I can't scan or get into my HP Director. I get a message that reads: " HP Director needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact developer...."

1) May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
2) What's the MacOS version installed?
3) What's the exact error? Can you please post a screenshot of the error message?
