HP laserjet 1020 plus printer sharing problem

I have hp laserjet 1020 printer shared with 5 pc in my network.

but everyday shared printer is not working.

I have to run hp print doctor and restrat the pc.

if a printer make problem everyday as a IT excutive it is negative marking for my perfomance.

please give me some solution.

HP LaserJet 1020 is designed for one man (one pc) using but not suit for multi-user,shared it with else is not a good idea. 

Its GDI languse is not friendly  towards multi-user.

It doesn't mean that you can't use it under multi-user. You can but you may get into much trouble and hardly can find out why it happened.

HP 1022n is better than 1020, it has a lan port iitself so there's no need to share with anyone you just print to 1022n directly with no any problem.
