Thanks for your prompt reply.

Is there any link you can share with me, i found some but non HP links.

I qm looking for a solid proof from HP side to confirm the date of launch.

Suresh.

The data came from an internal source.  We do not have the authority to share the resource in the public venue.

I will look around and see if I can find anything that might be useful to you; chances are that whatever I find is something to which you already have access (and / or might have found).

Edits

Found this -- the information does not confirm the launch date -- it is an HP document (brochure) that includes the "Review" dates from various vendors in the Asia/Pacific region.

Commentary

After a product is out of warranty, there is a fee for phone support.  Fee-based support includes asking for information, software help, repairs, pretty much anything.

Be sure to explain, either in the menu selection, in the case submission, or as soon as you make any form of contact, that you are willing to pay for support.

Will you get the information you need and in a format that is useful to you?  Unknown.

Hi,

Here is a press release article from 13. April 2010 which clearly introduce the P1100 series and the HP Smart Install technology:

Hope that may help,
