Hello,
Printer works good. But scanning problematic.
Made fixed IP address, connect on wifi from windows 10 64bit pc (is wired lan connected pc on same network as wifi).
Found HPScan.exe buggy and seems "HP scan and capture" app on ms store is more stable, but now can not save scanned documents as pdf. Still can save as jpg. When try to save as pdf, is created pdf file on desired disc location with size 0 KB, but after moment removed and app notice "Failed to create pdf".
also tried NAPS2 and HP scan extended, but these never scan, can not connect to scanner. Tried various settings.
Bundle HPScan worked some time ago, but was problematic to establish connection with scanner. After reinstalling via HP scan and printer doctor removal process - do not work any more. Produce error in launching "scanner unreachable" with some delay and close.
Any ideas?
I mostly use to send and archive documents. Scan to pdf multipage with 150 dpi.

Uninstall the drivers and use the HP Smart App to scan: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Hi robot,
nope.
It is dedicated to print question, but I'm asking about scanner.
Same here.
Also rerun scan and print doctor, went with errors. Only application connect to scanner is from windows store "HP Scan and capture". But still can't save scanned documents as pdf (single or multiple), only can as jpeg.
Tried to scan from printer to gdrive - very complicated when scan from flat glas: no option to scan multiple pages and very loooooong pauses between separate pages, printer connecting to web app, waiting, choose options and scan, waiting till uploading, etc. Very disappointed. seems only scan from feeder is usable. But feeder also stops, probably while current document trasmit is finished.
some hp print and scan doctor screens.
Any advice?

thanks, that worked 🙂
Only problem was, that ms store do not alowed to download, but changed region to UK and voila.
This time printer was installed as MFP and other programs, like NAPS2 also can scan. Now on printers and devices on control panel right click show scanner options. Before was only printer properties/preferences and no scanner.
