Product: color laserjet pro m252dw
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

After having installed my HP Color Laserjet Pro M252dw a WiFi-signal is still in the air. It's called HP-Setup>9d-M252 Laserjet. It's an open network. Would anybody know how to disable this signal?

Well, the network has disappeared. This may have something to do with swiching it off and on again.

Does anyone have an actual answer for this? I have the same issue with a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 (SSID named HP-Setup>55-M277 LaserJet). The SSID is there whenever the printer is on, even though it is connected to my local WLAN. Wifi Direct is disabled in the printer.

Why is this "HP-Setup" wifi active?
