CP1215 LASER PRINTER Windows 10 quit recognising it. I have an HP PHOTOSMART ALSO CONNECTED WHICH WORKS FINE.

NEED BOTH DUE TO PHOTOSMART HAS SCAN ABILITY WHICH I NEED. BUT LASER IS FASTER AND BETTER QUALITY PTINT.

Driver says installed succesfully.

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues?

Ran the print and scan doctor it see's the CP1215 TWICE. But won't update because has latest driver. tRYED uninstalling the cp1215 by removing device still showing up in print and scan doctor but windows control panel won't show it as printer.

Onlt shows the photosmart 4600 series ICON. help! this is so frustrating. was working about a month ago.

I would try and remove all related HP drivers from the PC even if this means to remove them from the registry files.Then i would reinstall the drivers but would try the 32 bit version.I hope this will help.

I have used a tool to remove all hp software. I used Revo Uninstaller which cleaned all registry entrys. I than updated Dell mother bd. bios I tryed installing 32bit driver for cp1215 but won't install stops not even a quarter way of progress bar and freezes installation. Tryied to install 64bit version only the cp1215 it shws up in devices and printers. but getting print errorCP1215 IS IN ERROR STATE. wHEN I try to print a test page. Help I just spent $300 plus on laser toner. HELP PLEASE can anyone at H.P take  a  phone call. this is crazy!
