I'm having this issue with the EWS Username and Password. I was not aware of there is any default Username or Password stated during my printer unboxing.

Recently I changed my WIFI SSID and Password - then the problem started. First there is no more HP-Setup Wifi signal to HP Smart mobile app. There is no way to change the WIFI SSID and Password in the app which I think basic requirement. Then I started to find solution in Desktop software, both Mac and Windows 10. Both get me stuck with EWS Username and Password. Seriously what the heck is EWS! Tried default Username and Password from the internet, failed. I never change any password. I'm the only one who have access to this printer. There is no hard reset button. I'm clueless.

Now the only way to print is to connect Direct Print WIFI. But I will lose connection to the internet. This stressing me out. Almost want to return this printer ugh.

Please guide me to reset this printer.

An NVRAM reset might help. You should be able to find a video on YouTube that will show the steps. This will return the unit to out of box condition.
