Hi all,
I want to reset the Fuser Kit counter. It is now 60%. I have swapped the fuser with a newer one, but that does not change the percentage (60% again). Does this counter only reset when you install a brand new out of the box fuser (back to 100%)?
Regards,
Alex

Fusers that reset the count when new contain a burnable fuse that blows when 100 pages have been printed. The printer sees the fuse as not blown and resets the count to 100%. The fuse blows after 100 pages. If a fuser with a blown fuse is installed the count will not reset. If a new fuser is installed and then remove before 100 pages and a fuser with a blown fuse installed the count goes back to the original count and not 100%. No way to trick the printer.
