How do I Reset my Printer to Factory Settings when I don't remeber the password?

After talking with tech support, here's the secret.
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Turn the printer on, and then, as soon as the HP logo appears, press your finger on the lower right quadrant of the control panel(keep your finger pressed down).
3. When the Permanent Storage Init. message appears on the display, release your finger. The NVRAM initialization starts.
4. When the printer has finished the NVRAM initialization, it returns to the Ready state.
Tech support was VERY helpful.

Lets try this is not the reset for your model but it might just work.On the control panel enter the service mode by pressing the service button with a spanner.Scroll to reset to factory defaults and reset settings.Hope this will help.

Normally there is a button with a tool on it or any button that an refer to service mode.Hope this helps.
