I have a new LaserJet Pro4001n.  It is plugged in and cabled to the back of my computer running Windows 11.  It turns on and shows READY.

When I attempt to print, It shows my former LaserJet Pro M404-M405 printer (thrown away).  I assume I need to change this to my new 4001n.

When I now attempt to print, it CAN print the music, 2 column, graphing, and writing papers .... but CANNOT print a  normal multi-page document.

So I need to delete the M404-M405 installation and then install the new 4001n software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

Yes, it would be best to remove all software/drivers for your old printer model and install the software drivers for the 4001n new printer.

Download drivers for 4001n and just run installation https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LJ4001-4004/HPEasyStart-16.2.1-LJ4001-4004_UW_54_...
