Hi @Hal32,

Welcome to the HP Forums! 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand that you would like to setup fax header date.

I will be glad to help you with your HP Officejet 4635 e-All-in-One Printer.

You cannot set date in the fax header settings all you need to do is setup date and time on the printer it self.

Follow the steps to set or change date and time on your printer.

To set date and time.

  • On the front panel of the printer, arrow down to and select Settings. In the Settings menu, look for and choose Preferences, then you will see Date and Time.
  • Arrow down to enter the appropriate hour, minute and AM/PM, press OK after entering each field.
  • Once you have completed the time, press OK to return back to the Date and Time screen, then press the home button.

To set or change the fax header.

  • From the Home screen on the printer display, press the Up and Down buttons to select Fax, and then press OK.
  • Select Settings, and then select Fax Header.
  • Enter your personal or company name and fax number, and then select Done.

You can also use this link to check the complete user guide of the printer.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Have a great day! 🙂
