Hello everybody,
I have a laserjet MFP m127fn printer. there is no problems facing me when using it by a usb cable. However, today I decided to use it wirelessly because in this way it is much easier to use than being restricted a small area wired to the printer waiting the printing process to finish to get back to my position far from the printer.
So I followed the instructions that is written on papers that was in the box of my printer. i failed, that's it.
Now the issue is that I see a button with this icon at the left here in this page:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03721293
So that confirms that my printer can be connected wirelessly. And this is the first step
However, I don't have a button with that icon that resembles WiFi waves coming out of an antenna, but I hope this is not related.
I clicked the menu button and clicked on the Network option. the ICP/IP is on the Automatic detection and the IPv4 is enabled and "showing the IP address" option is also enabled. I don't have other options on the screen to talk about (and that's one of the problems am facing because most of the instructive videos/articles say: go to the network settings options and then do this and that, but non of this is present among my printer's options). There is another option on the main menu screen called HP seb services but it only prints some information that never helped me, and the IP address in not one of the data printed but I managed to extract my printer's IP through the router settings while it is connected by a wire directly to the router and I made that IP as a static one - but that was my last trial so don't judge me wrong regarding making that ip a static one
BTW, my printer's screen is not a touchscreen.
I opened the "Reconfigeration" file and choose the option that says "I would like to connect wirelessly". actually there are two options regarding the same issue and I tried them both but unfortunately they both failed. one of them has 4 sub-options (to try to find my printer on the network automatically, to type the printer's ip manually, to type the network name manually, and the fourth I forgot it). I tried them all. Unfortunately non of them succeeded.
all of them just count from 0% to 100% then ask me to connect my printer by the usb cable and then a green check mark shows and then and error occurs saying unable to find your product.
sorry I might not be accurate in typing the msgs or the options that are showing because they are in Arabic, so try to follow me.
I hope I can find help and use my printer wirelessly.
Thank you very much in advance.

As I Understand you've confirmed that the printer isn't compatible with wireless printing, however, you need assistance with mobile printing,
I'd love to help, however, to provide an accurate solution I need a few more details:
Have you looked at any of the HP articles for ePrint or AirPrint depending on OS you've got on your mobile device?
Which OS do you have on your mobile device?
In the meantime, Here's all you need to know about ePrints:
Click here to visit your user guide and scroll down to page.30 and beyond for details.

Let me know how that pans out,
Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

So, I just realized that the MFP m127fn is not a wireless printer from this article:
Mobiles can connect to it though.
However, It has an eithernet capability, and that's the thing I'm asking about now, so change the subject. How can I prepare it to print through eithernet ? I have the cable already connected to the router with a static ip.. then what to do ?

I believe we've got on the wrong foot. I don't want to connect my mobile to the printer. I wanted to know how to connect it through the ethernet pathway, however, I already figured out, and also printed about 150 pages through a wireless order from my laptop to the router which is connected in turn to the printer through a cable.
I will mark your answer as a helpful one in either way because you are the only one who stood up for me, and thank you for that.
