HP Laserjet 5200Lx
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I need to connect my HP LaserJet 5200Lx printer to LAN. How do I find its default ip address. Printer menu or configuration page does not show the ip address.

Thanx in advance.

Hi,

I searched abit and it seems like this printer can not be connected to network. There is just 2 interface ports.

IEEE 1284B-compliant parallel connection
2 Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection

My HP LaserJet 5200Lx has a network port also. However I changed the printer and got a 5200n. Thank you.

Hi,

The only guide I could find was below steps.
To continue setting subnet and gateway you start from step 7.
I found a Youtube clip for another model, but the menu looks similar

Thank you, but Jetdirect menu is not available in that printer. I think it does not support network.
