How to remove a label stuck in the printer

HP LaserJet 1320n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi.  Thank you for taking my question.

I was printing labels, and one of them got stuck in the printer.  Now when I print, I see it on the output.  I have opened every place that I feel can be opened, and I can't see it anywhere.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Bren

Usually when this happens the label is stuck on the drum of the toner cartridge. Sometimes you can remove it and other times it damages the toner cartridge so the cartridge will need to be replaced. Remove the toner and flip back the shutter and see if can see any part of it on the drum. If you can get to it you need to remove it very very slowly and use alcohol to wipe down the drum to remove any glue residue.

Well, you were exactly right!  I did find the label on the drum, and I removed the entire label.  There was no residue on the drum, so I put the toner cartridge back in, printed a test page, and it was perfect.

Thank you so much for the advice.  All is good!

There should be a front or top door you open to access the toner cartridge. Open the door and simply pull the cartridge out.
