M28W
iOS

Hello,

I have a M28W printer and everything works fine before.  But when my old WIFI router broken and replaced by a new one, my M28W printer can't connect network, and I failed to do reset on M28W to re-setup it as a new printer.  May I know how to hard reset my M28W without network using iOS / MacOS?

Hi,

Make sure there is no USB connected to the port of the printer and that the printer is ready with a solid power light (press Cancel to wake it up if it blinks due to sleep mode)

Press and hold the wireless button for about 20 seconds, as soon as the Attention light starts blinking in addition to the power light, release the button and allow the printer to restart.

Now make sure that your iOS or macOS device is wirelessly connected to your home wireless, and that you can see a nearby wireless network starting with HP-Setup in the nearby network list.

Now open HP Smart and follow the steps to reconnect the printer, as listed under 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel >> Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app' below (skip the steps to reset the wireless settings as those has been done above, skip to the step of launching the HP Smart app:
