Hey there! @VIVEK_VF14, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you would like to know how to reset admin password on your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Excellent description and a great diagnosis done. It is greatly appreciated.
Try performing a hard reset on your printer and check if it helps.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Also, try performing factory defaults on your printer and check if it helps.
1. On the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.
2. Open the Service menu.
3. Select Restore Defaults. The printer automatically restarts.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps try performing an NVRAM reset on your printer and check if it helps.
As the steps to perform an NVRAM reset on your printer is confidential I will send you the steps in a private message, please watch your inbox for more information.
Let me know if this works!
