Hi,
We currently receive many unwanted fax that uses paper and ink for nothing. We would like to be able to check the document on the connected computer (as a PDF or an image) before chosing if we are going to print it or just delete it.
Is there any way to configure such a thing with our printer ?
Thank you all,
Eugénie

The device needs to support digital fax in order to save to a folder as a file. A quick look at the specs suggests that this unit does not offer that feature.

Thank you for this quick answer.
Considering this, I would like to resolve an issue that we have with the printer. When we receive a fax, once in a while, the printer prints a few times (between 5 and 10 times) the same page : a fax error report. On this report, we can see everytime that the result (or error message) is busy. The printer tries to receive the fax 1 min later, then 5 min later and so on until it works (printing a fax error report everytime).
What you need to know :
- The frimeware is up to date
- The fax line is dedicated, and not very busy (meaning that when we receive a fax, it is the only one at that moment)
- The printer is not used at the same time for printing a document
I want to know how to fix this so that it doesn't print that many fax error reports and why it says that the printer is busy when it really does nothing else.
Thank you very much
