Hi,

I have a brand new HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4102dw Printer here. The printer is connected via WLAN only. The printer was updated to the latest available firmware. No further configuration changes were made.

Problem:
Per configuration, the printer enters sleep mode after 1 minute ... but I'm not able to wake it up after he went to sleep. Touching the touch-panel does thing. Pressing (shortly!) the power button also does nothing. In this state the printer also does not process print jobs. It is also not possibe to scan or copy anything ...

Only way to recover is to press the power button twice - which seems to cause a complete reboot of the printer.

(To be sure: I'm talking about "sleep mode" - not "shutdown")

I already tried a factory reset - but this did not change anything.

Question:
Is this normal / intended behavior - or am I missing something? How to get this fixed - with this behavior, the printer is not really useable.

Thanks

Hobi
