we have a printer hp laserjet 4004dn at our office. It always shows under attached error. I have to oobe reset everyday so that printer works fine. We have installed original compatiable 152 toner cartridges in it but it always shows same error. Anybody can help so that I don’t have to oobe reset everyday.

If the printer is in warranty you need to contact HP support since that seems to be a hardware or Toner cartridge failure and HP SUpport can repair or replace the printer.

You state original compatible cartridges. Are these HP toners or not? If not you will need to install actual HP cartridges to test before HP will even look at it as a possible warranty issue.

I do not know why it works briefly after a reset, but I do know that if it is in Warranty you should contact HP Tech support since they can replace the Toner and/or the Printer.

Volunteers like me can give advice, but we cannot do what HP Support can.

I've also seen cases where someone had an in warranty device and they didn't bother to contact support until after the device was out of warranty, and then they had to pay for repairs.
