Product: HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot install the printer software for my HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw.  I go to Th HP website and download the file at https://whp-aus1.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32629/Im-80811-7/LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Ful....  When I open it ,I get a progress bar that reads ”extracting” when it closes nothing else happens.  If I try HP Smart.  Clicking the “Setup” button take me to a registrsattion site, even though the printer was registered years ago, there’s no way to skip the registration. If the registration information is entered, the setup process stops.

Hi,
Click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.

Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
Double-click HpSetup.exe and the installation should now launch.


Now follow the installation and check for any difference.
