HP laser jet printer MFP M28a
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

When I make on the CD to install the printer, It earns a lot of ritmic noise from the laptop computer that don't stop and nothing happens about the printer

I did the download from 1123.hp.com but the result it wose an alert : "Hp Easy Start 10-0-4029-14 exe isn't a Win32 valid" application

Possibly a damaged CD or the drive in your computer is bad. Check the disk to make sure there is nothing stuck to the bottom or big scratches. You can always download the install from support.hp.com

Hi,

Download the printer software and drivers directly, instead of using HP Easy Start:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LJ/M28/LJM28-M31_U_Full_WebPack_46.2.2636.exe

 

Be sure not to plug the USB till the onscreen instructions clearly ask to connect it.
