I had the same issue.  I finally ended up installing the older version of the driver.  [Written for Windows 7, 64 bit]

The filename: upd-pcl5-x64-5.9.0.18326

When you start the install.  Turn ON your 1320n network printer. Choose: Traditional Mode. Choose: Help me find my printer.  Choose: My Printer is a little bit older.  And let the setup find it.  Click on it.

After you have successfully printed the Test Page.  And you see the FINISH screen.

You may need to manually close the Wizard by pressing X, because it does not close properly.

I recommend you to perform the following steps before installing new driver.

  • Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
  • First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
  • Restart your computer.
