IP address for printer = 0.0.0.0   I print my JetDirect page and there's nothing recorded in the Protocol information. This has only occurred recently and I'm not sure how. reinstalling the driver does not resolve since the network now cannot find the printer.  How can I reinitialize?

First check to make sure you have a link light on the jetdirect card in the pritner. If no light try another cable and/or port on the switch. If the port and cable are good then odds are the jet direct card has gone bad. If the model of the card is 610N or 615N and the pins for the rj45 connector look good you can probably repair the card. You have to bake it. Take card out with the power off. Remove the plastic back piece (torx 10 screws). Take the card and place in baking pan with the chips facing up and the card propped up so the bottom does not touch the pan. Preheat a GOOD oven to 350F (177C) and when the oven is ready, place the pan with card in the oven for 8 minutes. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes, put the plastic back piece back on and put in the pruinter and see if it works. If not you need to replace the card which is very cheap on ebay.-
