My printer is leaving a row of check mark looking marks on the right side of a page when printing

Cannot answer for sure without seeing a sample but if the marks are repetitive and evenly spaced you can measure and use a repetitive defect ruler to determine the cause. Usually either a cartridge or the fuser.

Thank you!   I was told to clean the roller. So I did.  Now there are 2 sets of marks!  I have a person coming by to take a look for me.  Thank you!

I failed to flip the photo.  These appear on the right side of of the sheet

Ink stains appear on the back of paper.

This can be caused by a recent paper jam. If a paper jam is not detected immediately, the printer may continue to print. When this happens, the ink from cartridge is sprayed on the bottom of the printer instead of the paper
