Hello,
I have an hp color laserjet pro M254dw.
All 4 of my cartridges (202A) are new.
The black and magenta aren’t printing correctly. On the supply status sheet on the left side their color isn’t showing like it should. Along with this I’ve included a photo of the supply status sheet.
‘Any suggestions of what I need to do or try to correct this problem?

Sorry, in your sample the black looks normal, the toner level bar looks black and consistent. Keep in mind that on that sheet, the text may be composite which means the problem with the magenta will show up . I would say that your magenta cartridge has failed. It does happen, even to original HP cartridges.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
Although the black looks ok it isn’t and the magenta isn’t either.
Their boxes on the left side withe the triangle in the middle is suppose to show their color like the cyan and yellow are showing their color.
When I print text the black looks gray and I have to bold the black to make it look black.
When I print text in magenta it hardly shows up and when I bold the magenta it looks decent, but not like it should.
When I print pictures both colors are awful.
i looked at a video on you tube and looks like my problem may be called, “ missing print issue” caused by the alienation tab.
I checked their tab and they appear to be ok.
Any other suggestions?
