I am trying to set up the HP LaserJet 1012 printer after upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 10 x32.
Unfortunately, none of the drivers i tried to install seem to work and the printer continues to cause messages: "HP printer is in error state" and "The full software solution for your product is not installed on this computer". Whe turned on the printer keeps printing "Unsupported pesonality: UNKNOWN".
I ran HP Smart to add printer, HP Print and Scan doctor 5.1, and Windows troubleshooter to find the right driver. Drivers for HP LaserJet 1012HB and HP LaserJet 1015HB installed via Windows Add Printer wizard with manual settings didn't work. Neither did the HP LaserJet 1012 drivers for Windows Vista X32.
Will anyone have an advice on what else can be attempted to resolve the problem?

Hi,
I afraid the HP Laserjet 1012 printer is not supported on Windows 10, no drivers are offered for your priner for any OS later than Vista:
