Laser Jet Pro MFP M28w
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Jammed paper around internal roller. Laser Jet Pro MFP M28w. Cannot pull out since not enough paper to grasp. I can see it but cannot grab it. I know it was the wrong way to get it out initially, but not much I can do now. Just nothing to grab and I have unplugged the power and reset the printer and the roller is supposed to turn the paper part out. Nope..Does not do so..no movement. Is the brand new printer toast?paper wrapped around roller.paper wrapped around roller.

If you remove the toner cartridge can you see the rest of the paper before it entered the fuser? If so you might be able to gently work it out backwards, however normally we do not recommend pulling the paper backwards due to the chance of damaging a paper flag. Pull gently and be very careful to not tear the paper as this only makes things worse.

I have removed the toner cartridge out but there is not enough paper to grab in any way, shape or form. I can see the edge of the paper wrapped around the roller on top and bottom but that is all. Sucks..
