Just yesterday when I was printing, a loud alarm sounded that I had not heard before.  I checked to make sure nothing was jammed then ran tests, but it showed nothing.  I turned off all alarms and it still does it.

 

This printer has been working fine since I bought it late 2018 and now all of a sudden is making noises.  I don't use this printer often, there is paper in the tray and it shows the toner cartridge is not empty.  What is wrong with this thing and why all of a sudden the noise.

 

I thought turning off alarms would solve the problem.  I hope it isn't something more serious and for no reason other than another defective piece of junk from this Best Buy store.  I have returned five laptops (HP and Lenovo) since Dec 2018 due to being defective.  This will probably be next.

Yes it is plugged into a UPS.
