HP LaserJet 4M & HP Envy 17t Laptop 17ce-0015nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have LaserJet 4M with JetDirect card J2550-60013 that only has MAC/Apple port - no RJ45. I have brand new HP Envy 17t laptop 17ce-0015nr with Win10 Home.  LJ 4M won't communicate with PC using existing Parallel to USB cable which still works fine on my older HP Pavilion laptop running Win10 Home. Q1:  Is there any way to get existing Jet Direct AppleTalk card to work with PC?  (For example, could printer be installed in Win10 as wireless using IP address?) Question 2:  If "no" to question 1, can printer be installed in Win 10 as wireless using IP address and Jet Direct card with RJ45 or does that only work with hard wire connection?

Get a parallel print server. This plugs into the port and provides an RJ45 connector for networking. Used to be very common , less so now but you should still be able to get one.
