Hello, 
my laser printer has started to stain the sheet on the left side.
This happens even when printing an empty page.
According to your experience, what could be the problem? fuser? photoconductor?

Not knowing the model my first guess would be leaking cartridge, second would be a possible HVPS issue.

it is not the fuser because by making a stop-test the defect is already there before entering the fuser - I also see the toner powder in the transfer roller.
