HP Laserjet 5P
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have not been able to locate a driver for my HP 5P that will work with Win 10, 64bit on my laptops.  I have an older driver on my desktop and it works fine.  My printers are on a home network, wired.  I use a StarTech Print server on the HP 5P to tie it to the network.  Can print on it using my desktop.  Laptops no.  Have tried wireless connection to the network and hardwired.  I can ping the printer fine so I know there is a comm link.  Just think I need the correct printer driver.  Anybody have any ideas?

Try the HP PCL5 universal printer driver.

Right after submitting my question I tried a different approach.  From my laptop(s) I selected a network printer located off my main desktop (the HP 5P).  Windows searched for, found, and loaded the driver.  Test sheet printed,  Other documents printed.  Problem solved.
