Hi, 

the transfer belt on my HP CP 1525 has become damaged, is there away of replacing the belt and what would be a rough cost?

You have video instructions on youtube on how to replace a transfer belt, and the cost depends on how cheap you can get a transfer belt. No special tools are required, screwdrivers and 15 minutes of labour.
