I am looking to buy an HP LaserJet M426fdn this week.
I have a question about the scan to email feature - Does anyone know if I can scan to email drirectly from the printer panel or do I have to do it all from software on my PC?
Printer is in a different room to the PC so ideally I want to walk to the printer with a page of something and scan/send to email when stood infront of the printer.
Many Thanks

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well @Anthony_B 🙂
I read about the scan to email post and wanted to stop in to share my suggestions with you.
You can very well use the “Scan to email” feature from the printer control panel. You first need to setup the scan to email feature by using the printer software from the computer or by going to printer EWS page. Once the scan to email is setup, you can use the feature from the printer control panel.
If you have not yet setup the scan to email, this post have the steps: http://hp.care/2cDfLNI
Let me know how that goes. Good luck!
Thanks & have a great day 🙂
