Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

LaserJet MFD M177 stuck in initialization mode, tried power cord suggestion to no avail.

the unit most likely has a defective formatter board.  its like the brain of the machine and when it goes, often times you'll see things like stuck initialization

Would a defective formatter board allow wireless scanning which I am still able to perform? The only functions that don't work are wireless printing from a windows PC or iPad.
