After what I believe has been a recent security update to macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra, I have started having difficulty in printing from my LaserJet P2055. Firmware is updated and the HP website isn't too clear on installing updated drivers for Mac hardware. I am getting a selection of message such as 'Printer not connected' when it clearly is. I can see the green light showing data transfer but nothing ever prints and when I go to the printer queue, the document is either on pause, or I see the 'Printer not connected' message.
I have tried to ensure the Firmware is updated and now see USBCnt=0 message which I believe is a message indicating the firmware HASN'T updated successfully.
Can anyone shed any light on what I should try next?
Thanks in advance.
Rob P
