We have had this printer on our network for a couple years now but on Monday I was unable to print to it. There were no changes done to my computer since Friday when I was printing to the HPLJ, though it is always possible there was a Windows update over the weekend. Our other workstation is still able to print to the HPLJ. I have rebooted my computer, then I tried deleting the printer driver and add printer. Now I can print to it, but the pages are coming out upside down (face down but bottom/feet first). It doesn't matter on plain paper but I wasted 9 preprinted checks before I realized there was a problem. It normally prints face down, top/head first. This happens whether I use Quickbooks for the checks, MS Word for letters, and even the test page prints upside down, but when the other workstation prints from their computer, it prints out the way always has--rightside up (face down, top/head first). I Googled for suggestions and the most common is to check box for rotate 180, which makes sense, but unfortunately does nothing. We also tried comparing print settings between the two computers for a discrepancy that might give us a clue but we could not find anything different between the two workstations. I think I should throw away my computer and get a new one, right? If you do not have a fix, maybe you could give me ideas for suggesting that to the boss?
